Walter Mirisch (born November 8th, 1921 in New York City, New York) was a Film Producer who was best known for winning the Academy Award for Best Picture as producer of the famous1967 movie "In the Heat of the Night". Walter died on February 24th, 2023 and his death was simply because of old age. He was 101 years old when God took him.
