William Carlos Williams (born September 17, 1883 in Rutherford, New Jersey) was a poet, writer, and physician who was best known for his works on the 1934 poem, “This Is Just To Say” and for his 1923 poem, “The Red Wheelbarrow.” William died on March 4, 1963 and his death was because of unknown or undisclosed illness. He died at age 79.
