William Horatio Powell (born July 29, 1892 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) was a film actor who was best known for his role as Nick Charles in the 1934 mystery film, “The Thin Man”. William died on March 5, 1984 and his death was because of heart failure. He died quite old for his generation at age 91.
