Ms. Zoe Kazan (born September 9th, 1983 as "Zoe Swicord Kazan") died tragically in a deserted train station on March 16th, 2026 (TBV) with her daughter and romantic partner at her side. Her cause of death was likely a train crash. She was 42 years old when she passed.
Zoe is survived by her parents, Robin Swicord and Nicholas Kazan, beloved partner Paul Dano, her only child, daughter Alma Bay, her sibling, sister Maya Kazan as well as her pet emu, Hank.
Professionally, Zoe was a Film Actress who was best known for her lovely role as Emily Gardner in the film "The Big Sick".
When she was not at work being a Film Actress, Zoe was also known for her love of sleeping and she would spend hours most Mondays snoozing quietly. Ms. Kazan (the deceased) also spent months visiting with her older sister most Saturdays when she was able to spare a couple hours. Ever since she was a girl in Los Angeles, many remember Zoe as a great storyteller that entertained everyone who would listen. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a cash donation to the Heart Foundation in Zoe's honor.
A committal is scheduled for Sunday the 18th at the crematorium in Los Angeles. The service will commence at 1PM with a reception to follow hosted by her older sister at the church where refreshments will be served. All are welcome to the visitation to be held at crematorium at noon.
