Alexander Borisovich Godunov (born November 28, 1949 in Sakhalin, Russia) was a ballet dancer and film actor who was best known for being a member of the Bolshoi Ballet and for becoming the troupe’s “Premier danseur.” Alexander died on May 18, 1995 and his death was reportedly because of hepatitis caused by chronic alcoholism. He died young at age 45.
