John Daniel Katuszak (born October 25, 1950 in Oak Creek, Wisconsin) was a an American football player and film actor who was best known for being the defensive end for the Oakland Raiders of the NFL, and as an actor, he was best known for his roles as Sloth in the 1985 film, “The Goonies.” John died on June 17, 1989 and his sudden death was because of an accidental drug overdose on propoxyphene and cocaine. He died young at age just 38.
