Thomas McCarthy (born January 30th, 1966 in New Providence, New Jersey) was a Film Director who was best known for his work on several independent movies that were award winners. One of the more memorable was the movie "Spotlight". Tom died on October 28th, 2025 (TBV) and his death was possibly because of a liver problem.
