Wayne Rogers (born April 7th, 1933 in Birmingham, Alabama) was an TV Actor who was best known for his role of "Trapper John" McIntyre in the hugely popular American TV series, M*A*S*H. Wayne died on December 31st, 2015 and his death was reportedly because of a pneumonia. He was 82 years old.

"A hard journey began for Wayne Rogers when he was diagnosed with leukemia at the age of 5. Biochemically, he was healthy, but when his cancer escalated, he fought tooth and nail to keep tumor under control. By the time he was 25, he had worn out all his resources, but he refused to give up. He underwent an operation that removed a portion of his left leukemia tumor, but it was too late. The cancer had spread to his bone marrow and he died in a hospice after a long and difficult battle. (V)"
