Thomas Albert Ecke Van Dekker (born December 20, 1905 in Brooklyn, New York) was a film actor and politician who was best known for his roles in Dr. Cyclops, The Killers, Kiss Me Deadly, and The Wild Bunch. As a politician, he was part of the California State Assembly for the 57th Assembly District in 1944. Albert died on May 5, 1968 and his death was reportedly because of autoerotic asphyxiation. He died too soon at age 62.
