Paul Mellon (born June 11, 1907 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) was a businessperson and philanthropist who was best known for being a breeder of thoroughbred race horse and for being one of the greatest philanthropists of the 20th century. Paul died on February 1, 1999 and his death was possibly because of old age. He died at age 91.
