Roy Rogers (born November 5, 1911 in Cincinnati, Ohio) was a singer, film actor, and TV personality who was best known for being the co-founder of the the singing group the "Sons of the Pioneers". Later in his career he became one of the most popular stars of Western movies of his era. Roy died on July 6, 1998 and his death was because of congestive heart failure. He died at age 86.
