Mr. Alvin Ing (born May 26th, 1932 as "Alvin Y. F. Ing") died quietly in hospital on July 31st, 2021 with his older cousin nearby. His cause of death was due to cardiac arrest brought on by the COVID-19 virus. He was 89 years old when he passed.
Alvin is survived by his caring parents, Jan Ing and Steven Ing, as well as his pussycat Susan.
Professionally, Alvin was a TV-Actor who was best known being in many TV and film productions over several decades.
When he was not working as a TV-Actor, Alvin was known for his love of renovating cabbins and he would spend the days most weeks engulfed in it. Mr. Ing (the deceased) also spent weeks visiting with his dentist most Mondays when he was able to spare a minute. Ever since he was a boy in Honolulu, many remember Alvin as a wonderful personality with wonderful photo albums that shocked everyone. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a small donation to the Down Syndrome Society in Alvin's honor.
A funeral is scheduled for fortnight the 17th at the crematorium in Honolulu. The service will commence at 10AM with a reception to follow hosted by his oldest friend at the funeral home where refreshments will be served. All are welcome to the visitation to be held at the local Denys at noon.
