Ed Gilbert (born June 29, 1931 in Chicago, Illinois) was a voice actor, TV actor, and film actor who was best known for voicing Baloo in the 1990’s animated television series, “TaleSpin” and for voicing Blitzwing on the 1980’s animated series, “The Transformers.” Ed died on May 8, 1999 and his death was due to the effects of lung cancer. He died fairly young at age 67.
