Isaac Manuel Francisco Albéniz y Pascual (born May 29, 1860 in Camprodon, Spain) was a musician and composer who was best known for being one of the foremost composers of the Post-Romantic era who also had a significant influence on his contemporaries and other composers. He also was known for his piano works based on Spanish folk music idioms. Isaac died on May 18, 1909 and his death was because of kidney disease. He died at age 48 just eleven days before his 49th birthday.
