Jack Riley (born December 20th, 1935 in Cleveland, Ohio) was a TV Actor who was best known for his role as the endearing yet annoying, Elliot Carlin on the American TV series "The Bob Newhart Show". Jack died on August 19th, 2016 and his death was because an especially nasty bout with pneumonia. He was 80 years old at his death.
