Mr. James Gunn (born August 5th, 1970 as "James Francis Gunn Jr.") died unexpectedly while traveling west on a bus on April 26th, 2024 (TBV) with his comic books at his side. His cause of death was reportedly a motor coach accident. He was 53 years old when he passed.
James is survived by his parents, Leota Gunn and James F. Gunn, lovely wife Jennifer Holland, his siblings, brothers Sean Gunn, Matt Gunn, James Gunn, Brian Gunn and sister Beth Gunn as well as his pet dog, Max.
Professionally, James was a Screenwriter who was best known for directing the movie "Slither".
When he was not working as a Screenwriter, James was known for his love of the lord and he would spend seconds most Thursdays reading his bible. Mr. Gunn (the deceased) also spent hours visiting with his pastor most Wednesdays when he was able to spare a lot of seconds. Ever since he was a boy in Saint Louis, many remember James as a wonderful personality with fantastic hairy arms that bummed out everyone. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a cash donation to the The Salvation Army in James's honor.
A funeral is scheduled for next Thursday at the cemetery in his home town of Saint Louis. The service will commence at 11AM with a reception to follow hosted by his oldest friend at the undertaker's where refreshments will be served. All are welcome to the visitation to be held at cemetery at 9AM.
