Richard Dick Simmons (born August 19, 1913 in Saint Paul, Minnesota) was a TV actor and film actor who was best known for his title role in the 1950’s television series, “Sergeant Preston of the Yukon.” Richard died on January 11, 2003 and his death was because of Alzheimer’s disease. He died at age 89.
