Russell Johnson (born November 10th, 1924 in Ashley, Pennsylvania) was an Film Actor who was best known for playing "The Professor" on the 1964 American TV series "Gilligan's Island". Russel died on January 16th, 2014 and his death was possibly because of kidney failure. He was 89 years old.
