Ted Knight (born December 7th, 1923 in Terryville, Connecticut) was a TV Actor who was best known for being cast as Ted Baxter in the American TV sitcom "The Mary Tyler Moore Show". Ted died on August 26th, 1986 and his death was because of colon and bladder cancer. Mr. Knight was 62 years old when he bought the farm.
