Barry Fitzgerald (born March 10, 1888 in Dublin, Ireland) was a stage actor, film actor, and TV actor who was best known for his academy award winning role as Father Fitzgibbon in the 1944 musical drama film, “Going My Way.” Barry died on January 4, 1961 and his death was reportedly because of a heart attack. He died at age 72.
