Daniel Harold Rolling (born May 26, 1954 in Shreveport, Louisiana) was a criminal who was best known for being referred to as, “The Gainesville Ripper” and murdered 5 college students in Gainesville, Florida. Daniel died on October 25, 2006 and his death was because he was executed by the state of Florida using lethal injection. He died on schedule at age 52.
