Francis Harry Compton Crick (born June 8, 1916 in Northampton, United Kingdom) was a physician and Nobel laureate who was best known for discovering the double helix, the twisted-ladder structure of DNA. Francis died on July 28, 2004 and we were able to confirm that his death was because of colon cancer. He died at age 88.
