Fred Ebb (born April 8, 1928 in Manhattan, New York) was a composer and poet who was best known for having many collaborations with John Kander, which formed a songwriting team called “Kander and Ebb” that wrote songs for performers. Fred died on September 11, 2004 and her death was because of a heart attack. He died at age 76.
