Ms. bell hooks (born September 9th, 1952 as "Gloria Jean Watkins") died quietly in her bed on December 15th, 2021 with her closest friends nearby. Her cause of death was reportedly Kidney failure. She was 69 years old when she passed.

Gloria is survived by her parents, Rosa Bell Watkins and Veodis Watkins, as well as her pet alpaca, Luna.

Professionally, Gloria was a Author who was best known for being an American author, professor, feminist, and social activist.

When she was not working as a Author, Gloria was known for her love of model car building and she would spend hours most Thursdays checking at it. Ms. Watkins (the deceased) also spent a millennia visiting with her older sister most Wednesdays when she was able to spare a unspecified hours. Ever since she was a girl in Hopkinsville, many remember Gloria as a crackpot with wonderful anecdotes that pleased everyone. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a cash donation to the Heart Foundation in Gloria's honor.

A internment is scheduled for Saturday the 5th at the cemetery in Hopkinsville. The service will commence at 2PM with a reception to follow hosted by her older sister at the graveside where refreshments will be served. All are welcome to the visitation to be held at cemetery at 1PM.
