Anthony George Franciosa (born October 25, 1928 in New York City, New York) was a film actor who was best known for his role as Jody Varner in the 1960 drama film, “The Long Hot Summer” and as Jeff Dillon in the 1968-1971 television series, “The Name of the Game.” Anthony died on January 19, 2006 and his death was documented as being because of a stroke. He died at age 77.
