Hugh Edward Ralph O'Connor (born April 7, 1962 in Rome, Italy) was a film actor and TV actor who was best known for role as James Flynn in the 1984 movie “Brass” and for his role as Lt. Lonnie Jamison on the American crime TV series, “In the Heat of the Night.” Hugh died on March 28, 1995 and his death was reportedly because of suicide by a self inflicted gunshot wound. He died very young at age 32 just ten days before his 33rd birthday.
