Mr. Jimmy Carter (born October 1st, 1924 as "James Earl Carter, Jr.") died slowly at work on December 30th, 2024 with his lovely wife nearby. His cause of death was mostly just old age. He was 100 years old when he passed.
Jimmy is survived by his children, sons John William "Jack" Carter, James Earl III "Chip" Carter, Donnel Jeffrey "Jeff" Carter and daughter Amy Lynn Carter, his siblings, brother Billy Carter, sisters Gloria Carter and RuthCarter as well as his pet tiger, Chester.
He was predeceased by his parents, Lillian Gordy Carter and James Earl Carter and his beloved wife Rosalynn Smith Carter.
Jimmy was a Politician who was best known for being 39th president of the United States.
When he was not working as a Politician, Jimmy was known for his love of reading and he would spend decades most Wednesdays reviewing it. Mr. Carter (also known as James Carter) also spent decades visiting with his older sister most Mondays when he was able to spare a given number of decades. Ever since he was a boy in Plains, many remember Jimmy as a jerk with entertaining books that horrified everyone. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a small donation to the Heart Foundation in Jimmy's honor.
A internment is scheduled for Tuesday the 15th at the chapel in Plains. The service will commence at 3PM with a reception to follow hosted by his older sister at the cemetery where refreshments will be served. All are welcome to the visitation to be held at chapel at 10AM.
