Ernest Miller Hemingway (born July 21, 1899 in Oak Park, Illinois) was a novelist, writer, and author who was best known for the books “The Sun Also Rises,” “A Farewell to Arms,” “For Whom the Bell Tolls” and “The Old Man and the Sea.” Ernest died on July 2, 1961 and his death was reportedly because of suicide by a self-inflicted gunshot. He died at age 61.
