James Garner (born on April 7th, 1928) was an American TV and Film-Actor who was best known for his iconic roles in several early American Western films, "Bret Maverick" in the TV series, "Maverick" and obscure detective "Jim Rockford" in the 1970s American TV series "The Rockford Files". He also starred in or appeared in many outstanding films throughout his long career. James died on July 19th, 2014 due to a heart attack caused by coronary artery disease. Mr. Garner was 86 years old when he died at his home in California.
