Luciano Pavarotti OMRI (born October 12, 1935 in Modena, Italy) was a singer who was best known for being an operatic tenor that was one of the most acclaimed tenors of all time and eventually gaining the nickname, “King of the High Cs.” Luciano died on September 6, 2007 and his death was because of pancreatic cancer. He died at age 71.
