Elisabeth Kübler-Ross (born July 8, 1926 in Zürich, Switzerland) was a physician and author who was best known for her best selling book, “On Death and Dying,” which introduced the theory of the five stages of grief, which was also called “Kübler-Ross model.” Elisabeth died on August 24, 2004 and her death was because of a stroke. She died at age 78.
